Sunrise Report

lighter winds and clean conditions to start the day. We’re looking at a mellow start this morning with lighter SW/SSW flow around a stalled front to the north. That’s helping keep the surface pretty clean early on, with a rideable mix of southerly windswell and some lingering ESE/SE energy. Surf is in the knee to thigh-high range with a few slightly bigger sets showing around the morning low tide—good stuff for longboards and cruisy rides. Morning window’s your best shot.

Conditions are most manageable early, especially north of piers or jetties where you’ll get a little more protection and shape. Winds are expected to rebuild out of the SSW/S into the afternoon, which could bump things up, so best to get on it early if you’re looking for cleaner lines.
