And so does his friend Rip Zinger.

Rip is a chef from Japan who lives in the apartment behind Rob’s house.

He doesn’t just surf Rob’s boards on most mornings, he also makes Rob and his family breakfast on most mornings.

He describes the perfect pre-surf meal: ‘Kale arugula salad with micro sprouts and apple with condensed balsamic vinegar.”

And there you go… it’s what Rob had for breakfast the morning we filmed this.

Rob rides the 7’0 and says he has enjoyed it in waves sized from one foot Seaside to big Bombie – the stretch of Uluwatu between Temples and Peak.
