Sunrise Report

Good morning! Another cooler start to the day here on WB! We’re coming up on that 7:49am high tide and conditions appear to be coming through around thigh sometimes bigger/smaller. The buoy is reading 2.3ft @ 12s and wind is out of the NNW/N around ~5 MPH. There’s some leftover swell in the water but again that high tide isn’t doing us any favors! Things appeared to be breaking mostly on shore and shut down quickly. Some do have a decent wall to it which could be promising once the tide switches. But if you are looking to get out first thing, check a couple spots to see if anything is working for you and grab something with a little extra float to get you in early. Sets do occasionally roll through with the opportunity to race down the line so you might be able find a few fun ones if you’re patient and work for them! Starting things off at a logo and hopeful things will improve as the tide starts to drop. Swell looks to continue to drop throughout the day while wind looks to hold more NNW after lunch. Low tide is slotted for 2:29pm and the evening high is set for 8:12pm so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update!
