Good morning and happy Friday! Waves look to be around the knee to thigh range. We’re just past the 4:51am high tide and it certainly isn’t doing us any favors. There’s definitely swell in the water but it’s mainly shore break. However, there are some outside sets that will start to break very softly and could be doable on a log or foamie. I believe the potential is there around mid-morning as that tide starts to lower so maybe glance at a couple of your go to spots and see if anything is working during that timeframe! The buoy is currently reading 2.2ft @ 9s and wind is out of the NE/E around ~7 MPH. Both wind and swell look to stay fairly consistent throughout the day with the wind gradually increasing more ESE across the afternoon. Low tide is slotted for 11:10am so make sure to keep an eye on the cam and check back later for another update! Weekend Look Ahead: Similar conditions to the last few days are forecasted. Time the tide and pick a solid spot and you could score some small wave fun this weekend.
