Mid-Morning Update

The ocean looks pretty quite this morning.  There are a few longboardable waves behind the shop but even those are looking pretty weak.  Most of the waves I did see break were petering out quickly.  If you search around, I’m sure you can probably find some sandbars that are working better.  Have fun if you decide to paddle out but keep the expectations low and bring a board with lots of volume.  Wrightsville Beach Lifts Restrictions on Beach Activities, Opens 6 Parking Lots, and Allows Short Term Rentals with No Restrictions beginning May 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.   Click HERE for more information.
