Sunrise Report:  Bigger than yesterday with a  chance of a ridable wave.  Mostly shorebreak right now and crumbly outside sets.  Wind and swell direction change is now from the North.  Check back later to see if the falling tide helps it out a bit.   MUST READ RED FLAG NEWS BELOW!

  Important news about the Red Flag Meeting-  The Board of Aldermen did not take a vote on the new Red Flag proposal Thursday night.  Instead they voted to reconvene the original surf zone committe (now the Water Safety Committee) to look over all the facts presented and make recommendations to the Board of Aldermen regarding Red Flags and Swim Zones.  This is a much better outcome for all involved.  I will keep you posted on the progress.  Thanks for everyone's input and passion.
