Mid-morning Update:  Small and cold.  Might be longboardable on a few that break outside but it's nothing great.  Shorebreak is still breaking fast and dumpy and the outside is pretty weak.  Stay tuned for more updates.  MUST READ RED FLAG NEWS BELOW!

  Important news about the Red Flag Meeting-  The Board of Aldermen did not take a vote on the new Red Flag proposal Thursday night.  Instead they voted to reconvene the original surf zone committe (now the Water Safety Committee) to look over all the facts presented and make recommendations to the Board of Aldermen regarding Red Flags and Swim Zones.  This is a much better outcome for all involved.  I will keep you posted on the progress.  Thanks for everyone's input and passion.
