Head down to The Soapbox this Saturday, July 24th to suck back some ice cold ones while grooving to the original, acoustic surf rock tone of Bag of Toys (think Jack Johnson + G. Love + Sublime). Warming up the stage will be local favorite Sai Collins and The Casual Kings.
Bag of Toys have been earning a name for themselves in California for the past 6 years. After banging out 3 solid albums, they've played all over the west coast, headlined 600+ capacity venues and have opened for the likes of Sean Kingston,The Expendables and Pato Banton.
Outside of playing live, Bag of Toys have songs featured in a national Microsoft commercial, an episode of "Bones" on the Fox network, and 2 Universal Pictures movies including "Beethoven's Big Break" and the soon to released "Hole In One" (which will feature 5 of their tunes). They've also managed to score over 1.1 million Myspace plays and have sold thousands of CDs globally.
