Boards Stolen from Outer Banks Lifeguard Station

Postby Kilekeni » Tue Jul 27, 2010 7:33 am

Hey guys I know this is a long shot, but we had some boards stolen from the Kill Devil Hills Lifeguard Station, post from obxinfo.com

Sunday morning – the day after the Surfrider Paddle Race – someone has stolen some surfboards from the Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue station located at Ocean Bay Blvd. (across from Stop n’ Shop). Not only is this a completely lame thing to do, the boards were stolen from some of the members of the KDH Ocean Rescue team — the very same people that keep our beaches open and safe AND are a HUGE help to the surfing community. Descriptions of these boards:

6ft black, all carbon-fiber, rounded pin tail in a Whale Bone board bag.
(this is a unique custom board with no marks)

5’11″ WRV, clark shape, swallow tail, black kickpad

5’9″ WRV, Fernandez shape, blue splattered spray paint, OAM teal kickpad, white OAM leash.

If you know of anyone – or hear anything about these boards, please contact:
Ocean Rescue phone: 252-480-0080
Peter Martinez / email: adayneverseen@yahoo.com / cell: 252-256-0475
Dave Elder / email: dave@kdhnc.com / phone: 252-207-4066
and of course, you can contact obxsurfinfo.com and we will notify the appropriate person
