Texting Lifeguard

Postby rbsurfs » Fri Jul 30, 2010 7:51 pm

I went for an afternoon swim at the south end today. On my walk back I witnessed a female guard at access 38 texting in tower # 13. I almost ran up to her grabbed her phone and threw it in the water! I hate to be a tattletale but this maddness has got to stop! She needs to focus all her attention to the water. If any guards are reading this she needs a good talking to! rb

Yeah, its always more effective to whine on the internet than to confront the perpetrator in person. Good on ya.

I almost confronted her but I felt I would have wasted my time. It probably would have turned into a shouting match..... her word against mine. I told other guards and hope it dosen't happen again. Do the job your paid to do or quit and be a texting twirp! rb

Maybe her text was job related, like an update or hourly report or something
